Here's my newest clipboard. I'm not done, by any means, but I'm more pleased with this one. I think I'm getting where I want to be with these. I'm still figuring it all out, and that's okay.
First, I gessoed it white, then I found a butterfly shape and traced it on.
Next I painted it sky blue (I actually wish I'd done that before tracing on the butterfly- learning, still learning), then I painted the butterfly black.
Finally, I cut out all the flowers and glued them on. I'm going to work on the butterfly next, but I thought I'd share where I am right now.
