Eclipse

Jake read my blog account of our eclipse watching, looked at his pictures and found that the eclipse WAS visible. So I was wrong, you can see the moon... Sorry, Jake! He had to crop & trim the pictures down so that I could see it. I actually think that his color blindness made it easier for him to see where the moon was in the pictures. The red made it almost impossible for me to see the moon at all in the larger picture.

This next picture is really cool, 'cuz it has the moon and Mars! The top left hand corner is the eclipsed moon and the bottom right hand corner is Mars. We didn't even know you could see Mars and weren't looking for it that night. Jake found it in the pictures. Amazing how much brighter Mars is than the moon...
